- Lesson 5 How to Add Staff Add team members to Zipper, assign roles, fine-tune permissions, and send invitations. Covers the three built-in roles, Advanced Permissions, and how staff claim their accounts.
Module 2
Build your schedule
Create classes and appointments, and set your team’s pay rates.
- Lesson 6 How to Create a Class Create recurring class series that automatically generate individual sessions, and edit a class time for a single session or the whole series after it's set up.
- Lesson 7 How to Set Up Appointments Learn how to create appointment types that define the services customers can book. Appointment types specify duration, pricing, forms, and availability schedules. Creating appointment types allows customers to book appointments with you through your site or customer app.
- Lesson 8 How to Set Up Pay Rates Learn how to set pay rates for staff members. Pay rates can be used for payroll workflows and tracking staff compensation.
Module 3
Launch your studio
Set up discounts, understand migration, and run your pre-launch checks.
- Lesson 9 How to Create a Discount Code There are two types of discounts in Zipper: an inline Point-of-Sale discount (admin-applied at checkout, no code) and a Stripe promo code (a code customers enter themselves). Here's how each works.
- Lesson 10 How the Migration Process Works Migrating to Zipper typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on the complexity of your data and website migration. Your setup is broken into four phases, and a Zipper onboarding specialist guides you through each one.
- Lesson 11 Pre-launch Checklist A step-by-step checklist to complete before announcing your Zipper go-live date, with detailed guides for spot-checking member accounts, verifying recurring payments, and inviting customers to claim their accounts.
