What if ChatGPT could tell you which classes are running tomorrow, show a client’s remaining credits, summarize this month’s revenue, or identify customers at risk of churning using information from your own Zipper account? Now it can.

Zippy’s new Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection turns ChatGPT, Claude, and Codex from general-purpose chat tools into assistants that can look up your actual business context. Ask questions in ordinary language without hunting through reports, exporting a CSV, or copying your business data into every prompt. MCP is the secure, permission-aware bridge that makes it possible.

The connection is always read-only. It follows the approving administrator’s current Zipper permissions, never shares their Zipper password, and can be revoked at any time. This release also introduces a unified reporting workspace, safe wallet transfers between family members, clearer credit management, NZD support, and more control for front desk teams.

Here’s what’s new.

Zippy MCP & AI

  • Ask AI questions only your business can answer. Connect Zippy once, then ask things like “What classes are running tomorrow?”, “Why can’t this customer book Morning Reformer?”, “Summarize this month’s revenue”, or “Which customers are at risk of churning?” Zippy looks up the schedules, customers, credits, products, and reports the assistant needs to answer, while remaining read-only and limited to information the approving administrator can already access.

Reporting & Insights

  • A new home for reporting. The unified reporting workspace brings Overview, Reports, Forecast, and Actions together, with searchable reports, favorites, business-level metrics, and drilldowns into the underlying details.
  • More complete financial reconciliation. New Refunds, Sales Tax, Processing Fees, and Revenue by Product reports make it easier to explain the numbers. Completed Transactions adds clearer totals for the selected period.
  • Revenue context in attendance reports. Authorized staff can see product, revenue, and payment details alongside attendance data, both on screen and in exports.
  • See every canceled booking in one place. The Canceled Registrations and Appointments report shows what was canceled, when it happened, who canceled it, and whether it was refunded.
  • Your words across reports and dashboards. Custom terminology now carries through provider reports and staff dashboard copy, so the language matches how your studio talks.

Credits, Wallets & Payments

  • A clearer credit experience. Staff get an at-a-glance credit overview with Details and Timeline views, while customers can easily understand current, future, and past credits in My Credits.
  • Move wallet balances within a family. Staff can initialize a family member’s wallet, transfer available balance between related members, and reverse a transfer when needed, with a clear history of every action.
  • More control over booking credits. Authorized staff can remove an entire booking-credit card, change when an individual credit becomes valid, or delete an available credit, with the changes recorded in history.
  • Partial refunds on Stripe charges. Refund part of a charge instead of the whole thing.
  • Full NZD support for New Zealand organizations. Eligible organizations can choose New Zealand dollars before taking payments and use NZD consistently across products, checkout, receipts, customer experiences, Stripe, and reporting.
  • Stripe details in the CRM. Manage a client’s Stripe customer information directly from their CRM profile.

Scheduling & Front Desk

  • Choose what appears on your event roster. Staff can select the roster columns that matter to them, keep personal preferences, return to the organization default, and let admins define that default for the team.
  • Assign and swap spots freely. Providers can assign a spot at the moment of booking, and move a member to a different spot without canceling and rebooking.
  • Same-day substitutions show today. Substitution requests now include TODAY, so you can cover a same-day gap.

Marketing & Automations

  • New automation triggers and conditions. Build campaigns around a “Credits Remaining” trigger and a “Customer Added Date” condition, plus an “exactly N days” mode on the Customer Inactivity trigger for precise timing.

Customer App

  • Custom greetings and quotes. Set your own greetings and quotes in the customer app to give it your studio’s voice.
  • Your class colors in the booking calendar. Customer-facing month and week calendars show each class in its assigned color.

Video & Content

  • Video library access and visibility controls. Control who can access each video category and whether it’s publicly visible.
