How to Set Up Class and Appointment Credit Pricing Options
Sell class and appointment credits in Zipper as memberships, bottomless plans, auto-recharging packs, guest pass perks, or combined multi-credit products.
How credits work in Zipper
In Zipper, credits are the unit clients spend to book a class or an appointment. When you create a product, you decide what credits it grants — how many, what they can be redeemed against, how long they last, and how they’re paid for. The same product engine powers both class credits and appointment credits, so anything you can do for one, you can do for the other.

Credit pricing options
When you create a product, you can structure the credits inside it in several ways. Mix and match these to fit how you actually want to sell.
Subscriptions (memberships)
Charge on a recurring cadence — weekly, monthly, annually — and refresh the client’s credits on each billing cycle. This is how most memberships are set up in Zipper: pay every month, get a fresh allotment of class or appointment credits every month.
Bottomless credits
Grant unlimited use within the membership period. Bottomless is perfect for “unlimited class” memberships or all-access appointment plans — the client never runs out while their subscription is active.
Auto-recharging packs
Sell a finite pack of credits (for example, 10 class credits) that automatically tops up when the client runs low or hits a renewal date. The client never has to manually re-buy — Zipper recharges the pack and bills the card on file.
Guest pass perks
Bundle guest passes into a membership so members can bring friends. Guest pass credits live alongside the member’s own credits but can be configured to only work for guest bookings.
Combine multiple credit types in one product
A single product can grant several different credit types at once. For example, one membership could include unlimited group classes, four 1:1 appointment credits per month, and two guest passes — all sold as a single subscription that the client buys once.
Setting it up
- Go to Products & Services / Manage Plans and click Create Product.
- Choose the product type that matches the pricing model — subscription for memberships, package or punch card for finite credits, and so on.
- Add the credit types this product grants. For each credit type, set:
- What it redeems against — specific classes, class categories, appointment types, or any combination.
- How many credits — a fixed number, or bottomless.
- Auto-recharge behavior — whether the pack tops up automatically.
- Guest pass flag — if the credit is meant for guests rather than the member.
- Add additional credit types to the same product if you want to combine them (e.g. classes + appointments + guest passes in one membership).
- Set pricing and billing cadence — one-time for packs and punch cards, recurring for subscriptions.
