New in Zipper: a clearer view of your studio
Your numbers, your clients, and your family's booking balances are easier to understand in this September update.
Running a studio means answering questions all day. Which classes are filling? What did we actually collect? Why is a family’s credit sitting on the wrong account?
The first September update is about making those answers easier to find, with less switching between screens and less work at the front desk.
Know what your numbers mean
Reporting and Business Intelligence come together in one workspace, with Overview, Reports, Forecast, and Actions organized around the questions an owner actually asks. You can start with the big picture and open the detail behind it.
The financial toolkit grows too, with revenue by product, refunds, tax, processing fees, and attendance with revenue. That gives you a more useful starting point for understanding both what is selling and what clients are attending.

Refund the amount you intend
Sometimes an adjustment calls for a partial refund rather than reversing the whole payment. Zipper adds partial refunds for Stripe charges, giving your team a more precise way to handle that situation.
Financial reporting grows alongside it, with refund, tax, and fee reports that help explain the activity behind your totals.
Eligible New Zealand studios also gain NZD support across products, checkout, receipts, and reporting, so the currency is consistent throughout the experience.
Make family accounts easier at the desk
Staff can now add an initial wallet credit and transfer available cash balance between eligible members of the same family. The transfer has a history you can follow, rather than becoming an unexplained adjustment.
It gives staff a direct way to handle the family’s request while keeping the movement understandable to whoever opens the account next.

More useful details, fewer small interruptions
New automation building blocks include Credits Remaining and Customer Added Date, giving you more ways to respond to a client’s situation. Video-library category access and visibility controls also make it easier to decide who can see your content.
