Release Notes

A dashboard you arrange yourself, ClassPass, and a much smarter Zippy

A bigger three-week update: build the dashboard you want, fill open spots from the ClassPass marketplace, sell gift cards, and put Zippy to work on org-wide reports and your help center — plus a redesigned calendar, richer reporting, and better billing and communications tools.

This one is a little bigger — three weeks of work rolled into a single update. Two themes run through it. First, a wave of redesigns: your provider calendar and dashboard both got cleaner, faster layouts, and your dashboard is now yours to arrange — drag the modules you care about into the order you want. Second, Zippy got a lot smarter. It can now pull accurate org-wide membership and credit reports, answer straight from your help center, and tell you exactly who owns a given product or has credits left.

On top of that, two things worth calling out on their own: Zipper now connects to ClassPass, so you can list your open spots on the marketplace and fill classes that would otherwise go empty — and you can now sell and redeem gift cards right at checkout.

The rest is a deep bench of improvements across billing, reporting, marketing, and your website. Here’s everything new.

Scheduling & Calendar

  • A customizable dashboard. Arrange your dashboard the way you work — a configurable bento-box layout lets you drag the modules you care about into place.
  • Redesigned provider calendar and dashboard. The list and month views, session and appointment cards, and dashboard modules all got a cleaner, more readable redesign.
  • Instructor names on the month calendar. Month-view event pills now show who’s teaching, so you can read the week at a glance.
  • Assign rooms independently of spots. Room assignment is now decoupled from spot booking on class timeslots, giving you more flexibility in how you set up sessions.
  • Bulk forms and waivers. Apply a form or waiver across many classes, events, and appointment types at once instead of one at a time.
  • Manage Events hides past events. The manage-events page now filters out sessions that have already happened, so you only see what’s ahead.
  • Delete class types to hide them everywhere. Remove a class type you no longer offer and it disappears across your whole site in one step.

Zippy & AI

  • Ask Zippy for org-wide reports. Zippy now answers accurate, org-wide questions about memberships and credits — not just single-customer lookups.
  • Zippy answers from your help center. Zippy searches your help-center articles, so it can answer “how do I…” questions with your own documentation.
  • Ask Zippy who has what. Zippy can now find clients by the product they own or the credits they have left.
  • A redesigned Zippy assistant. Zippy’s interface got a cleaner redesign, along with a smoother experience when a brand-new org is getting set up.

Memberships & Payments

  • Gift cards at checkout. Sell and redeem gift cards directly at the point of sale.
  • Use your own sales tax rate. Prefer to set tax yourself? Orgs can now apply their own sales tax rate instead of Stripe Tax.
  • Buy now, charge later. Customers can self-purchase a membership and have the first charge deferred — either to a fixed start date or to their first booked class.
  • Start a subscription on the first class booked. Kick off a membership from the day a member actually starts, not the day they sign up.
  • Granular eligibility for intro offers. Fine-tune exactly who qualifies for your introductory memberships and intro-offer products.
  • Coupon codes at event registration. Shoppers can now enter a coupon code during the event-registration payment step.
  • Change the payment method on any booking. Swap the card or payment source on an existing booking without rebooking it.
  • Point of sale remembers the card. The POS now auto-selects a member’s saved payment method, so checking someone out is one tap faster.
  • Add a card from the client’s billing tab. Put a new credit card on file straight from a client’s Billing & Payments section.
  • Clearer charge and decline messaging. The Charge Payment modal has plainer button labels and in-context guidance, and card declines now show a friendly, specific reason instead of a raw error.
  • Redesigned Payments Collector on mobile. The mobile card layout is cleaner and easier to scan.
  • ACH failure alerts. When any customer’s ACH payment fails, the org owner and providers get notified right away.
  • Easily revoke credits when a subscription is canceled. Cancel a member’s subscription and clear out any remaining credits in the same step.

Marketing & Automations

  • Test an automation before you turn it on. Do a dry run of an automation — including sending test emails to any address — so you can see exactly what members will get before it goes live.
  • AI chat captures leads. Your website’s AI chat now collects visitor contact info and notifies admins the moment a new conversation starts.
  • Personal coupon codes in emails and texts. A new automation action generates a coupon scoped to each recipient, ready to drop into email and SMS merge tags.
  • See a customer’s automation history. A customer’s profile now shows which automations they’ve been enrolled in, with member names included in the execution history.
  • Redesigned Email & SMS dashboards. Drafts, Sent, and Pre-built sections now collapse and carry category tags so you can find the right message fast.
  • Full communications history on the profile. The Communications tab shows every email and text you’ve sent a customer — not just inbox replies — with status and filters.

Websites & Programs

  • Multiple business locations. Add and manage more than one company location in your site and company details.
  • Copy a program’s landing-page link. Grab the public landing-page URL for any program straight from the admin, ready to paste anywhere.
  • Program events show every session date. When an event is part of a program, its landing page now lists all of the session dates.

Reporting & Insights

  • Fill Rate, Acquisition, and Retention reports. New location-level diagnostic reports show how full your classes are and how well each location is winning and keeping members.
  • Filter booking reports by location. Every booking report now supports a location filter, in both the UI and the CSV export.
  • Attendees by Location report. See a unique attendee roster for each of your locations.
  • External-payment subscriptions report. Track subscriptions paid outside Stripe in one place.
  • Client names on staff payout. Non-summary staff payout views now list the client under each appointment.

Integrations & Support

  • ClassPass integration. List your open class spots on the ClassPass marketplace and fill sessions that would otherwise go empty, all managed from Zipper.
  • View as a client or staff member. Org admins can now see exactly what a live client or staff account sees, making it far easier to help someone through an issue.
