Virtual classes, intro offers, and a warmer welcome for families and new studios

This update is all about meeting your community where they are and making it easier to say yes. You can now run classes online, offer first-timers a special one-time intro deal, and give families and drop-in guests a much smoother experience.

We also gave your storefront and your front desk some love — a scrolling photo hero for your website, cleaner forms, and faster registration — plus a brand-new Help Center and a friendlier setup experience for studios just getting started with Zipper.

Scheduling & Calendar

• Virtual classes. Mark a class as virtual so members know at a glance it’s run online over video.
• Instructor substitutions. Assign a substitute teacher to a class without cancelling and rebuilding the whole thing.
• See how full a class is. Members can now see how many people are already registered for a class, right from the schedule and the app.

Memberships & Payments

• Intro offers. Create a product or pass that each client can purchase only once — perfect for first-timer introductory deals.
• Link-out products. Add a product that points to an outside link, like a martial-arts supply shop, so everything your members need lives in one place.

Forms & Front Desk

• Cleaner form layouts. Form fields now display in a tidy, scannable table that’s easier to read and manage.
• Smarter form links. Send a client a personalized form link that already knows who they are, so they don’t have to re-enter their details.

Customer Experience

• Rebuilt family and guest support. We reworked how families and guests are handled, making households and drop-in guests much easier to manage.
• Birthday touches. A client’s birthday now appears with a friendly visual on their profile, so you never miss a chance to celebrate.

Websites & Online Presence

• Scrolling image hero for your website. Show off a rotating carousel of photos at the top of your site — one of our most-requested features.
