New dashboards, family-friendly payments, and a website chat widget

This release sharpens the tools you use to run and grow your studio. Owners and managers get redesigned dashboards that surface what matters, and a refreshed sidebar makes getting around Zipper faster. A new website chat widget lets visitors reach you the moment they have a question.

We also made life easier for families and for anyone managing memberships: kids can now draw on a parent’s credits and payment method, clients can carry an account credit balance, and you can sign people up for events using their membership. Add smarter scheduling tweaks and easier email and text audiences, and there’s a lot to like here.

Here’s everything new in this release.

Dashboards & Navigation

• Redesigned owner and manager dashboards. Owners and managers each get a clearer dashboard that highlights the numbers and tasks that matter most.
• Refreshed sidebar navigation. A new sidebar with a quick switcher makes moving between areas of Zipper faster and more intuitive.

Scheduling & Calendar

• Change an appointment or class type. Switch a booking to a different appointment or class type without cancelling and starting over.
• Faster way to add sessions. A streamlined flow makes adding a new timeslot or a one-off session quick and painless.

Memberships & Payments

• Account credit balance. Clients can carry a credit balance on their account that’s applied automatically to future purchases.
• Sign clients up with their membership. Register a client for an event using their membership or subscription, with no extra checkout step.

Family Accounts

• Pay with a parent’s card. Use a parent’s saved payment method when checking out or enrolling their children.
• Kids can use a parent’s credits. Children on a family account can draw on their parent’s class credits.

Forms

• Attach multiple forms — or none. Assign several intake or waiver forms to a class or appointment, or skip forms entirely when they aren’t needed.

Marketing & Automations

• Easier audience building. Choosing who receives an email or text is now simpler and more precise.

Customer Experience

• Default notification settings. Set the notification preferences new clients start with, so everyone gets the right messages from day one.

Websites & Online Presence

• Website chat widget. Add a live chat widget to your website so visitors can reach you right when they’re interested.
• Build a starter site from your existing website. New studios can point Zipper at their current website to get a head start on their Zipper site.
