Release Notes

Flexible credits, smarter scheduling, and automations that do the follow-up for you

Refund classes as account credits, reorder your waitlist, and let new automations handle billing reminders and first-visit follow-ups — plus visual charts on your reports and a smoother booking experience.

  • v4.19
  • v4.20

This release is all about flexibility and follow-through. When a client cancels late or you need to issue a refund, you can now hand back a class credit instead of cash, so the value stays in your studio. Your calendar got smarter too — it remembers the filters you set, lets you filter by location, and shows who’s teaching at a glance.

We also gave your marketing a hand. New automations can fire a set number of days before a subscription renews, or follow up automatically after a client’s very first class — so the right message goes out at the right time without you lifting a finger. Throw in visual charts on your reports and a quicker registration flow, and you’ve got a release that quietly saves you time all day long.

Here’s everything new in this release.

Scheduling & Calendar

  • Instructor names on the schedule. Class and event listings on your website and customer app now show who’s teaching, so clients always know what to expect.
  • Your calendar remembers your filters. The provider calendar now reopens exactly how you left it, instead of resetting every time.
  • Filter the calendar by location. Multi-location studios can narrow the calendar down to a single location in one click.
  • Reorder your waitlist. Sort a class waitlist however you like to control who gets the next open spot.
  • Click straight through to the roster. Selecting a class on the calendar now jumps right to its registration list, not the details page.
  • Skip the waiver for returning clients. Clients who’ve already signed your waiver no longer have to re-sign it, making booking noticeably faster.
  • Smarter Register button. The Register button now clearly shows when someone is already signed up, so no one accidentally books the same class twice.
  • Add to calendar from confirmations. Registration confirmation emails now include a calendar invite, and clients can add the class to Google Calendar or download it with one tap.
  • See how a class was cancelled. Registration records now show whether a cancellation was a regular cancel or a late cancel.

Memberships & Payments

  • Refund a class as a credit. When you refund a scheduled appointment or a late-cancelled class, you can return a class credit to the client instead of cash — keeping the value in your studio.
  • Manage subscriptions from the billing tab. Cancel or refund a subscription or a one-time purchase right from a client’s billing tab.
  • Auto-issue a punch card when you charge. Manually charging a client for a class pack can now create the punch card automatically at the same time.
  • Punch card management overhaul. Managing class packs is faster with new quick actions and the ability to edit credit expiration dates.
  • Organize your online shop. Sort products into categories so clients can quickly find what they’re looking for in your shop.

Marketing & Automations

  • Pre-renewal automations. Trigger an automation a set number of days before a subscription bills again — perfect for friendly reminders or timely upsells.
  • First-visit follow-ups. Automatically reach out a chosen amount of time after a client’s first class, so every new face gets a warm welcome.

Reporting & Insights

  • Visual charts on your reports. Key reports like Revenue now include charts, so you can spot trends at a glance instead of reading rows of numbers.

Customer Experience

  • Instructor and admin notifications. Instructors can now be emailed when someone registers for or cancels their class, and you control which admins receive these alerts.
  • Install the app to your phone. New step-by-step instructions on your dashboard show you and your clients how to add the Zipper app to a phone’s home screen.
