Offer a community price for your next workshop or retreat
Give clients clear, named pricing choices for the same studio program, without duplicating the event or its schedule.
A retreat can have one itinerary and more than one sensible price. Some clients can pay the standard amount. Others need a lower-cost place. A few may want to contribute a little more.
Named program pricing lets you offer those choices within the same Zipper program. You can explain the options in your own language without creating three copies of the workshop.
Keep the experience together
A program groups the sessions that make up a workshop, course, or retreat. Pricing choices belong to that whole program, so someone can choose an amount and pay once for the experience.
For an illustrative weekend workshop, you might offer Community, Standard, and Supporter prices. Each option has a clear name and fixed amount. The names help explain the choice before someone reaches payment.
This is self-selected pricing. It does not add an application process or automatically decide who qualifies for a scholarship. If your studio has conditions attached to an option, explain them in the program description.
Build the choices into the program
Open the program’s payment settings and review its existing price. Add the named choices you want to offer, check the default, and confirm the amounts before sharing the booking link.
The program creation guide covers the underlying setup. When deciding on labels, write for someone seeing the program for the first time. “Community price” is more useful than an unexplained internal abbreviation.
Free places should be intentional, clearly configured choices. Leaving an amount incomplete is not a reliable way to create one.
Make the program easier to find
Active upcoming programs can appear in the customer app and existing website program listings as one program card, showing the date range and price or price range. The detailed itinerary belongs inside the program.
If your website has no published program-listing section, you still need to add the appropriate section or share the program’s direct link. Creating the program does not redesign your website for you.

Keep the purchase understandable afterward
The selected pricing option and amount remain part of the registration and financial record. Changing the program’s current prices does not rewrite the amount a previous attendee paid.
That helps when someone asks which option they chose, or when you review how the program performed. It also avoids interpreting each price tier as a different event.
Named prices give you a useful middle ground between one rigid amount and a separate manual arrangement for every attendee. The booking experience stays coherent, and your studio can offer a little more flexibility.
