Recurring appointments, built-in time tracking, and a smarter calendar

Set up repeating appointments once, track your team's hours with clock in and out, bill memberships quarterly, and color-code your calendar. Plus richer client records and a redesigned timeslot setup.

This release is about running the day-to-day of your studio with less effort. Appointments that happen on a regular cadence can now be set up a single time and repeat on their own, and your calendar is easier to read at a glance with color-coding and cleaner blocked-time controls.

We also added tools for managing your team and your money: built-in time tracking with clock in and out, percentage-based pay for instructors, and the option to bill memberships every three months. On top of that, client records now hold more of the details you actually need.

Here’s everything new in this release.

Scheduling & Calendar

  • Recurring appointments. Set up an appointment that repeats on a regular schedule once, and Zipper creates every future session for you.
  • Color-coded appointments. Give appointment types their own colors so your calendar is easy to read at a glance.
  • Better blocked-time management. Block off time for breaks, cleaning, or personal commitments with clearer, more flexible controls.
  • Redesigned timeslot setup. Creating and managing your available timeslots is now faster and more intuitive.

Memberships & Payments

  • Quarterly billing. Charge memberships every three months, not just monthly or annually, giving you a pricing option that fits more clients.
  • Punch-card credit management. Easily view and adjust the class credits on a client’s punch card or class pack.

Team & Operations

  • Built-in time tracking. Your team can clock in and out right inside Zipper, so staff hours are tracked automatically.
  • Percentage-based instructor pay. Pay instructors a percentage of what their classes bring in, with the option to guarantee a minimum amount.

Customer Records

  • Client transaction history. See a complete history of a client’s purchases and payments in one place.
  • Address and emergency contact fields. Store each client’s address and emergency contact directly on their profile.
  • Photo capture at check-in. Snap a client’s photo when they check in or register at the kiosk, so your team always knows who’s who.
  • Control which custom fields show. Choose exactly which custom fields appear, keeping profiles clean and relevant.
