How to Turn Off Instructor Appointment and Class Notifications

Stop receiving email, SMS, or push notifications when appointments are booked or class registrations change.

Turn Off Org-Wide (Affects All Staff)

  1. Navigate to: Settings > Organization Notifications
  2. Find notification types like Appointment Booked, Class Registration, or Appointment Canceled
  3. Toggle off the channels you don’t want (Email, SMS, Push) for those notification types
  4. Save

Turn Off for Yourself Only (Personal Settings)

Individual staff can manage their own notification preferences:

  1. Navigate to: Settings > My Notifications.

  1. Find the notification types you want to turn off
  2. Toggle off Email, SMS, or Push for each type
  3. Save

Turning Off Just SMS

To receive notifications but via email only (no SMS):

  1. In My Notifications or Organization Notifications
  2. For the relevant notification type, toggle SMS to Off while keeping Email On

Tips

  • High-volume studios: If you have many bookings per day, consider keeping notifications on but filtering them to a separate email folder using Gmail/Outlook rules, rather than turning them off entirely.
  • Per-instructor control: If some instructors want notifications and others don’t, each staff member can configure their own preferences in My Notifications without affecting others.

Troubleshooting

I turned off notifications but still getting emails. Check both org-level AND your personal notification settings — both need to be off for a channel to stop. Also confirm the setting was saved (look for a save button or auto-save confirmation).
