Will Updating Appointment Availability Affect Existing Bookings?
No — changing an appointment type's availability schedule does not automatically cancel or modify existing bookings. Here's exactly what changes and what stays the same.
What Changes When You Update Availability

The rule: Availability changes only affect new bookings. Existing appointments are never automatically canceled or moved.
What You Need to Do Manually
To change or cancel an existing booking after updating availability: go to Schedule > Calendar, find the appointment, then Cancel or Reschedule it. The customer receives a notification.
Before removing availability or blocking dates, check the calendar for existing bookings and contact affected customers to reschedule.
Exception: Block Out Dates with Warnings
When you block a date range that has existing bookings, Zipper warns you about the conflict. You then decide whether to cancel those bookings (manual action required) or leave them as-is.
