Before You Begin

Steps

Step 1: Open the form editor

  1. Go to Products & Services > Forms
  2. Find the form and click it to open it
  3. Click Edit

Step 2: Mark a field as required

  1. Click the field you want to configure
  2. Check the Required checkbox (or toggle it on)
  3. Click Save on the field

Step 3: Save the form

Click Save on the form to apply all field changes.

Required fields show an asterisk or “Required” label to customers and block form submission if left empty. To remove required status, edit the field, uncheck Required, and save.

Troubleshooting

Required option not visible? Confirm you’re editing the field (not just viewing it) and that the Required option is supported for this field type.

Required field not being enforced? Confirm the Required option is enabled, the field is saved, and the form itself is saved.

Customers can submit without filling the field? Verify the field is marked Required and the form was saved with the updated settings.
