How to Manage Site Redirects

Learn how to create and manage URL redirects for your site. Redirects help maintain SEO when URLs change and ensure visitors find the right content.

How to Manage Site Redirects

Before You Begin

Steps

Step 1: Open Redirects

  1. Go to Website + App > Redirects

Step 2: Add a redirect

  1. Click Add Redirect (or Create Redirect)
  2. Enter the From URL (old path, e.g. /old-page)
  3. Enter the To URL (new path, e.g. /new-page)
  4. Choose the redirect type if available:
    • 301 Permanent — use for permanent URL changes (SEO-friendly)
    • 302 Temporary — use for temporary changes
  5. Click Save

The redirect is active immediately.

Step 3: Edit or delete redirects

From the redirects list, edit a redirect to update its URLs or delete it when no longer needed.

Troubleshooting

Redirects section not visible? Confirm you’re in site settings, the redirects feature is enabled, and you have permission to manage sites.

Redirect not working? Verify the redirect is saved and that both URLs are formatted correctly. Confirm the site is published.

Redirect going to the wrong URL? Edit the redirect and correct the From or To URL.
