How to Import Reviews from Google

Learn how to import customer reviews from Google Business into your Zipper account. Imported reviews can be published on your website to showcase customer feedback and build trust.

How to Import Reviews from Google

Before You Begin

  • Owner or admin permissions required
  • Google Business integration connected (required). If not yet connected: go to Settings > Integrations → Google Business → Connect Google Business → authorize Zipper → select your locations.

Steps

Step 1: Open Import Reviews

  1. Go to Marketing > Reviews.
  2. Click Import Reviews and select Google as the source.

Step 2: Start the import

Click Import Reviews. The process fetches reviews from your connected Google Business locations automatically.

Step 3: Publish

Imported reviews are not published by default. Review the list and publish the ones you want visible on your website.

Managing Imported Reviews

After importing you can publish, unpublish, or reply to reviews, filter by rating/date/location, and re-import at any time to pull in newer reviews.

Troubleshooting

Import Reviews option not visible. Confirm you’re on the Marketing > Reviews page and have permission to manage reviews.

Can’t import from Google. Verify the Google Business integration is connected and authorized with locations selected.

No reviews imported. Check that your connected Google Business locations actually have reviews. Re-run the import after confirming.

Duplicate reviews. The system merges duplicates automatically — it’s safe to import multiple times.
