Why Site Updates Aren't Showing (Caching)

If you've published changes to your site but don't see them, browser or CDN caching may be the cause. Learn how to resolve caching issues and see your updates.

Why Site Updates Aren’t Showing (Caching)

After publishing, wait 2–3 minutes for caches to clear. In most cases updates appear automatically.

Quick Fixes

  • Hard refresh — Windows/Linux: Ctrl + Shift + R or Ctrl + F5 / Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
  • Clear browser cache — open browser settings, clear cached images and files, then refresh
  • Open in incognito/private window — bypasses cached files entirely

Still Not Showing After 5 Minutes?

  1. Verify you published: go to Website + App > Site Editor and confirm you clicked Publish
  2. Check you’re viewing the live URL, not a preview
  3. Test on a different device

Tip: Keep an incognito window open while making changes — it never uses cached files.
