How to Connect Twilio for SMS Sending
Before You Begin
- Login to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com/auth/login
- Owner or admin permissions required to manage integrations
- Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and phone number (found in your Twilio Console)
Steps
Step 1: Open the Twilio integration
- Go to Settings > Integrations and find Twilio
- Click Connect Twilio
Step 2: Enter Twilio credentials
- Account SID — from the Twilio Console dashboard (format:
ACxxxxxxxx…) - Auth Token — from the Twilio Console dashboard (keep this secret)
- Phone Number — your Twilio number including country code (e.g.,
+15551234567)
Step 3: Save
- Click Connect (or Save) — credentials are verified and the connection is established
SMS sending is now enabled for campaigns and contact lists.
Troubleshooting
Connection failing? Confirm Account SID, Auth Token, and phone number format are correct and your Twilio account is active.
Can’t send SMS? Confirm Twilio is connected, the phone number is configured, and your Twilio account has sufficient balance.
To disconnect: Go to Settings > Integrations and disconnect Twilio.
