The Migration Process

Step 1: Export from Zen Planner

Log into Zen Planner and export your customer data, attendance/session data, and payment history as CSV.

Step 2: Prepare your data

Review the CSV files, clean up formatting issues, and map columns to Zipper’s import format.

Step 3: Import into Zipper

  1. Go to Contacts > Customers > Bulk Customer Creator
  2. Upload your customer CSV, map columns to customer fields, and process the import

For subscriptions:

  • Use Bulk Subscription Starter for active memberships
  • Use Stripe Importer to sync payment methods

Step 4: Verify the import

Spot-check customer profiles, verify payment history, and confirm attendance data transferred.

What May Require Manual Setup

  • Recurring class schedules (recreate in Zipper)
  • Automated email sequences (set up new automations)
  • Product catalog (recreate products in Zipper)
  • Website content (use Zipper’s site builder)
