How to Set Pay Rates for Staff

Before You Begin
- Ensure you have owner or admin permissions
- Have staff members added to your organization
Steps
Step 1: Open Add Pay Rate
- Go to Staff > Pay Rates
- Click Add Pay Rate
Step 2: Enter rate details
- Staff Member — select the team member from the dropdown
- Rate — enter the amount (e.g.,
25.00for $25/hr or50000for annual salary) - Type — select Hourly, Salary, or Other
Step 3: Save
Click Save. The pay rate is assigned to the staff member and available for payroll workflows.
Troubleshooting
No Pay Rates option visible? Confirm you have permission to manage pay rates and are logged into the correct organization.
Can’t select a staff member? The staff member must exist and be active in your organization.
Pay rate not saving? Ensure all required fields (staff member, rate amount, rate type) are filled in.
Need to edit a pay rate? Go to Staff > Pay Rates, find the entry, click Edit, update the details, and save.
